(Hippopotamus amphibius) ist man gewohnt, im Wasser anzutreffen. Vor allem bei kühlerem
Wetter trifft man sie auch ausserhalb an. In der Nacht wandern sie bis zu 30 km
um Futter zu suchen.
Dieses
Tier im Bild hat einen Kampf hinter sich, was an den Verletzungen zu sehen ist.

hart um Territorien.
Mostly
you are used to find hippos (Hippopotamus amphibius) inside the water.
Especially when the weather is not that hot you can meet them basking or grazing
outside. At night they walk up to 30 km in search of food.
This
one probably had a serious fight and had to move away. In Nakuru NP they can
follow the small rivers to get to other areas within the fenced park.
