Ol Kanjau meaning the place of elephants in Maasai. It is sited at the end of Africa's largest hill slope beneath the same od acacia tortilis trees that inspired Ernest Hemingway's 'Snows of Kilimanjaro'. They are adjacent to Amboseli National Park and are surrounded by a larger area of trye African bushland wilderness owned by Kisongo Maasai pastoralists, who benefit directly when you visit this unrivalled wild open space. Each of the 6 tents have their own bath room.
